AutoCAD
What is AutoCAD?
AutoCAD is a computer aided design tool used in the drafting disciplines of fields such as architecture or engineering. It is built to help people design buildings, products, or public spaces.
This Short Course in AutoCAD will prepare you with all the knowledge you need to take up responsibilities as an AutoCAD operator, technician or draftsperson. You will learn the AutoCAD commands necessary to create drawings, edit and plot. You'll gain knowledge of creating two-dimensional drawings, and the skills for editing, dimensioning, viewing, and managing your work. In this course, you'll learn about 3D design techniques necessary to become a drafter, designer or engineer. You'll learn such vital skills as lock management; user coordinate systems; solids modeling; viewpoints, view ports and rendering; revolving, regions; attribute definitions; external referencing; techniques for special dimensioning; 2D isometrics; and extruding.

Are you looking for a high "salary Job" and a bright future in the demanding field of Web Design? The GLCC Web Designing program focuses on the fundamental technical and aesthetic skills required for this challenging field.
In this Course students gain proficiency in the software programs that every Web designer needs to know: Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, and Flash. Students learn how to create digital images and animations, and build standards-compliant Web sites using either HTML/CSS hand-coding or Web editing programs. Class assignments include digital retouching and compositing, XHTML page markup, CSS-based layout and typography, home page and navigation design, Flash graphics and animations, portfolio site design, and more.
This course starts on a monthly basis. You'll progress through your program in a cohort of up to 30 students. A designated Student Advisor will guide you throughout your program, helping you keep track of course deadlines and complete your program on time. Group progress reports and student work showcases foster peer interaction and inspire you to put your all into every project.
